Student University Affairs Board members are paid a max
imum of $50 a month, not the $500 that had been indicated in
Thursday’s Emerald.
Additionally, a demonstration in support of Iranian students
set for the Park Blocks in Portland on Friday is sponsored by the
Iranian Student Union, the Iranian Student Association and the
Iranian Student Organization, not the Revolutionary Communist
Youth Brigade.
Program includes potluck
Campus Christian Ministry and Clergy and Laity Concerned will
present “China Night” Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Wesley Center, 1236
Kincaid St. The evening will begin with a potluck.
Sue and Glen Gordon, recent visitors to China, will show a selec
selection of slides from their trip giving a vision of the Chinese people.
Glenn Gordon is chairer of the local chapter of the U.S. China People's
Association.
Persons interested in membership in the organization may contact
the group’s secretary. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no charge,
but people are asked to bring food for the potlluck.
