More than $32,500 worth of cash prizes, professional internships
and motor vehicles will be awarded to winners of FOCUS ‘79, a na
tional competition open to film makers and film students attending
colleges, universities, art institutes and film schools throughout the
United States.

Workshop

data base
A demonstration of computer access to the more than 300,000
documents and articles in the Educational Resources Information
Center data base will be featured at this year’s ERIC collection, which
can be searched in printed indexes or by computer, contains informa
tion of interest to all persons in education and education-related fields.
The workshop will be given twice—Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5
p.m., and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Both sessions are in Studio B
of the library’s Instructional Media Center.
The sessions are free but advanced registration is required at the
education-psychology desk, 686-3074.
