Meditation: The only key
An informal talk entitled Yoga Meditation: Key to the Inner Self
will be given tonight in the Erb Memorial Union at 8 p m. The speaker is
Didi Rainjiita, a traveling yoga renundate, who has been teaching yoga
meditation throughout the U S. for the past three years. This is her first
visit to Eugene She is originally from Germany, and she received her
training as a meditation instructor while she was in India
The talk is sponsored by the Ananda Marga Sooety. and is free of
charge.
Workshops to aid women
Seminar Workshops for Women presents a 22 hour seminar de
signed to help women discover how they can know and follow God’s
pattern for enriched living.
The presentation is being taught by Verna Birkey, a former teacher,
counselor and Dean of Girls at Ben Lippon School in Asheville, North
Carolina. The workshop seeks to carefully define practical steps women
can take to create harmony in the home, accept others, develop a sense
of self-worth, help others develop a sense of self-worth, keep lines of
communication open, discipline effectively and gam the assurance of
being loved.
The sessions are open to all women; single, married, mothers,
widows, older, younger, homemakers, professional women, and stu
dents, and are being presented in two sessions. The first to be held this
Friday and Saturday, and the second session will be Friday and Satur
day, and the second session will be Friday and Saturday, No. 3-4.
