Swim hours announced
New recreational swim hours have been initiated for the two cam
pus pools, aquatic director Don Van Rossen says.
Leighton Pool will be available for students only from 8 p.m. to 10
p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. A 50 cent fee will be charged.
Students, faculty and staff will be able to swim without charge
Mondays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Gerlinger Pool will be open free of charge to students, faculty, and
staff swimming noon to 1:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Swimming times for families and guests of University students and
staff is also at Leighton Pool, Sundays from 1 p.m. to3:45 p.m. A 50 cent
fee will be charged.

Therapy workshop set
The American Association for the Advancement of Clinical Training
is offering a workshop on META Techniques of Family and Child
Therapy on October 7 and 8. The Association, which has its headquart
ers in Eugene, is bringing nationally-acclaimed family therapist David
Gordon from Santa Cruz, California, to lead the workshop.
This workshop will be of special interest to psychologists, psychia
trists, social workers, marriage counselors, psychology students and lay
persons who are interested in family and child counseling.
Cost is $80 for professionals and $70 for students. Reservations
can be made by contacting the Association at 3040 Harris St., Eugene,
