The Left Foot
Information aids hunters
Special information booths for hunters have been set up in Central
Oregon through Saturday, Sept. 30 by the State of Oregon, Department
of Forestry to provide information on hunting regulations, road closures
and fire regulations.
Booths have been set up at the Sisters Ranger District at the
junction of Hwys. 20 and 126; just east of the Dalles on Hwy. 97; at the
south end of Madras on Hwy. 97; and on Hwy. 58 at the summit of the
Willamette Pass just outside the town of Crescent.
The booths will open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
New Stop Signs Installed
Four new traffic signs are being installed this week by the City of
Eugene, Department of Public Works.
Stop signs are being installed on 15th Avenue at the Chamelton
Street intersection, and on Story Street to southbound traffic at the
Crest Drive intersection
Yield signs are being placed at the Lawrence and Washington
streets intersection, and on the Burnett and Minnesota Streets intersec
tion.
