Clary’s time in the steeple was
over ten seconds tower than his
previous best, and he thinks it was
the opening pace that helped.
‘The pace was fast, 4:33 for the
first mile,” Clary said. “That’s the
fastest I've come through the first
mile.”

Marsh go by and not following
him. I hesitated when Marsh took
off because I was not sure how I’d
feel the rest of the race if I ex
