woodpecker (hiding in a telephone pole), a marsh hawk, a tree
swallow, a pair of American Goldfinches, a yellow-throated
warbler, a snipe, a coot, apd aSand Hill crane, gargling. None
of these species are edible, but anyone who wants to try has
