Singers give
final concert
The University Singers and
Chorale will join Thursday to pre
sent the final concert of spring
term by a University group at Beall
Concert Hall.
The program will be “All the
Ways of a Man” by Nystedt;
“Jesus and The Traitors” by Ko
daly; “Neighbor’s Chorus” by Of
fenbach and “Trosterin Musik” by
Bruckner. The groups will also
perform compositions by Purcell.
The Max Riesinger Memorial
Scholarship Award to the out
standing student in choral music
at the University will also be pre
sented during the performance.
The concert, which will begin at
8 p.m., is free and the public is
invited.

Libraries extend hours
To accomodate an anticipated increase in use of resource
facilities, the University libraries will extend their operating hours before
final exam week.
On Fridays May 26 and June2, the Main Library, the Reserve Book
Room and the Science Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On Saturdays May 27 and June 3, the Main Library and the Science
Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Reserve Book Room will
be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Architecture and Allied Arts Branch
Library will be open June 3 only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, June 4 the Main Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 11
p.m., the Reserve Book Room will be open from 10 a.m. to midnight, the
Science Library will be open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the Architecture and
Allied Arts Branch Library will be open noon to 10 p.m.
The Libraries will close at 5 p.m. Friday, June 9.
Between terms from Saturday, June 10, through Monday, June 19,
the libraries will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. through 5
p.m. and will be closed Saturday and Sunday.
Musicians to perform
Students from the School of Music will give recitals this week at
Beall Concert Hall.
Keyte Hladky will perform her senior degree piano recital Saturday
at 8 p.m.
Eileen Mahan will present a cello recital Sunday at 3 p.m. in Central
Presbyterian Church, 1475 Ferry St. She will be accompanied by Gary
Laing on organ and Michael Mathew on piano.
Dale Workman will present her senior degree saxophone recital
Sunday at 8 p.m.
Cheryl Aydelott will perform her senior degree voice recital next
Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Dana Torrte will present her senior degree composition recital
Thursday, June 1, at 12:30 p.m.
All recitals are free and the public is invited.
