Events for Palestine slated
The Committee for Justice in Palestine will present three days of
exhibits, films and discussion on the Palestinians as it will try to answer
"Who are they, what do they do, where are they and what do they want,

Today at 2:15, a film entitled "The Key to Palestine wil be shown
ard later repeated at 730 p.m. ...
A slide show on "Palestine is the Issue will run all day Monday.
Tuesday s films are "Tomorrow Begins Today' at 12:15 p.m., a
reflection of life in a refugee camp and "Your Friend Omar, produced
by the United Nations, at 7:30 p.m. The all-day slideshow is called
"Palestine Holding On."
"Adjust Peace in the Middle East” will be shown from 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday. It is a filmed debate between four Jewish scholars.
Hearing starts Tuesday
A public hearing will be held Tuesday on a proposed amendment to
the University's current administrative rules.
The proposed amends procedures for rule making and the conduct
of proceedings in contested cases. The changes implement new legis
lative policies.
Interested parties may obtain copies from of^ ^ v'ce
president for administration and finance, Room 110, Johnson Hail.
The public hearing on the rules will be held from 1 to 3 30 p.m. in the
EMU.
Prof, to give piano recital
William Woods, University music school professor, will give a piano
recital Tuesday at 1230 p.m. in Beall Concert Hall.
The program for the recital is Sonata in E-flat (Hob. no. 49) by
Haydn; Three Preludes, "Sails,” "What the Westwind Saw and On
dine” by Debussy; "Moments Musiceaux” in A-flat (Op. 94 no. 6) and in
F-minor (Op 94 no. 3) and “Impromptu” (Op 90 no. 4) by Schubert
Woods will also perform two compositions by Bartok, "Divided
Arpeggios," "Minor Seconds, Major Sevenths" and “Three Dances in
Bulgarian Rhythms," also by Bartok.
The recital is free and the public is invited.
