‘Paper art’ show starts
Paper as Art," a show of works made by creating and manipulat
ing paper and paper pulp, will be shown at the Northside Gallery today
through April 12.
The gallery is located on Franklin Boulevard in the weaving studios,
parallel to the bike path to the Willamette River.
Hours are 11 a m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Yoga monk talks tonight
'Yoga Meditation and the Dharmtc Life" will be a lecture tonight in
the EMU at 7:30, room to be posted
The talk will be given by Dadaji Sarit Kumar, a yoga monk from the
Philippines who has been teaching yoga meditation in the United States
and Canada for six years,
Information about upcoming classes in yoga meditation will also be
available at the lecture, which is sponsored by the Ananda Marga
Society. Refershments will be served.

The University Business Of
fice has implemented a new ser
vice in Oregon Hall for the con
venience of faculty, staff and stu
dents.
An express payment box has
been installed to accommadate
those individuals making pay
ments by check to the University.
The payment box is located in the
lobby adjacent to the cashiers
section.
Checks in payment of dorm,
married student housing, short
term loans, deferred tuition and
accounts receivable may be
placed in the drop box during reg
ular business hours, 9 a m. to
4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The cancelled check will serve
as receipt of payment.
