Weaver, Wood to meet
Jim Weaver Fourth district congressman and Bob Wood. Lane
County commissioner will meet in a public forum today at noon In the
EMU Ballroom
During the meeting, sponsored by the ASUO. the two Democratic
candidates tor the Fourth Distnct will discuss their positions and re
spond to audience questions
At 1 p.m.. Weaver will speak to the University Veterans Associa
tion, a new ASUO group offering pb and housing referrals, counseling
and help with academic problems
Weaver will speak in the Dad s Room second floor of the EMU, and
discuss HR 9981 a bill he sponsors that would increase Gl education
benefits to 54 months
Donna Arndt. Veteran s Administration regional director, will also
be on hand with members of her staff to answer questions.

Photography exhibition set
All area photographers are invited to submit original photographic
work to the third annual Photography in Eugene exhibition April 8-29
Prints should be delivered to Dot Dotson's, 430 East 11th Ave
Friday between 2 and 6 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Photography in Eugene 1978, is sponsored by the Photography at
Oregon Gallery, Museum of Art, at the University. The exhibition com
mittee will be responsible for pnnt selection and exhibition.
The show will be exhibited at the Atnum Building, main floor and
second floor balcony, and at Birkenstock Store, 99 West 10th Ave.
County needs lawn tools
Lane County Senior Services is sponsoring a lawn and garden
maintenance program for low-income and handicapped senior citizens
Eight youths will be hired to do free lawn and garden work. Tools
are needed to get the program going.
