indude subjects from his travels in Norway,
Scotland, Mexico, the Maine coast, the
Palm Springs area and the Grand Canyon
Acker will also feature - paintings of rock
formations with their lichen and flowers
seen in Northwest mountain areas. Hutch
inson, a teacher of ceramics in Lake Os
wego for six years, did under-graduate
work at the UofO, Portland State Univ. and
Southern Oregon College. He received his
Master's Degree from Lewis & Clark Col
lege. His show will include functional
pieces in crystalne glazes

of Art. Jan. 8-15. Freemesser. professor of
fine arts at the UofO, died Dec. 18 at the
age of 51. The memonal exhibition will in
dude about 25 color and black and white
prints as a representative sampling of
Freemesser's extensive work. He served
as advisor to the gallery, which was started
in 1966 through his encouragement.
