This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions pursuant to which Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) located at 777 United Nations Plaza, New York. NY 10017. in return for payment by the charter participant of the amount specified as the charter price, agrees to provide the subject charter flight 2 RESPONSIBILITY: CIEE. the charter operator, as principal is responsible to the charter participants for arranging and providing the services constituting the charter trip Provided, however, that in the absence of negligence on its part, the charter operator is not responsible for personal injury or property damage arising out of the act or negligence of any direct air carrier, hotel, or other person rendering any of the services being offered in connection with the charter 3 PAYMENTS: If a reservation is made more than 60 days prior to departure, the following schedule of payments will be applicable a deposit of $125 per person will be required A signed contract/appiication form must accompany the participant s payment CIEE must receive the balance payment, including the applicable taxes at least 50 days before departure If the reservation is made less than 60 days before departure full payment, including the applicable taxes and the signed contract/ application form must be send to CIEE Failure of CIEE to receive payment in full at least 50 days prior to departure will place a person in default and cause loss of a confirmed r»*sei vation arid the impost tion of a 520 00 administrative fee For payment all checks and money orders should be made payable to Irving Trust Company, CIEE Escrow Account or your local travel office If the charters selected by the applicant are * ;lly bonked wh«- the rese’vatm; received the payment, with the authorization of the applicant will be retained by CIEE and the applicant s name will be placed on the standby list, pending cancellations 4 INSURANCE: Trip r a-fellatio health arid a'fident *• , available b protect you against unforseen circumstances which may cause you to interrupt or cancel your trip Upor request.
