Harris retains dean slot
Robert Harris has been reappointed dean of the University's
School of Architecture and Allied Art. Under a new University proce
dure, the job performance of University deans is reviewed every six
years.
According to Paul Olum, vice president for academic affairs, the
performance of deans is evaluated by faculty and student committees
and administrators. In addition, performance appraisals are solicited
from persons outside the University.
Harris, 41, will start another six-year term July 1 with the beginning
of the next fiscal year.

(OMSI) Kendall Planetarium for
the third time in two years, the
Heavy Water Lightshow is show
ing a 3-D presentation titled "As
tral Perceptions through March
6. The show runs evenings,
Thursday through Sunday, in the
OMSI planetarium.
"Astral Perceptions" is an ex
periment in optically generated
3-D. According to John Hardham
and Joan Chase, the husband
and-wife team who together make
up Heavy Water Lightshow, this is
the most advanced lightshow they
have yet created in terms of ex
plonng perceptual theones Giant

The soundtrack includes music
by Tim Clark, Pink Floyd, Camel,

After its OMSI showing, "Astral
Perceptions" will go to Europe,
where it opens at the Deutsches
Museum in Munich in May.

Public meeting planned
Lane County s Citizen Advisory Committee on Aflirmative Action
will hold a public meeting Monday, at 7:30 p m., in Harris Hall at the

subject of a lecture by Terry Frank at the Amazon Community Center

Frank, a chiropractor from Detroit, will describe Body Language in
Health and Disease The lecture will cost $3 and is sponsored by the
Kundalim Research Institute Northwest of Eugene
An all-day workshop, designed to give participants a working know
ledge of kinesiology, will be conducted by Frank Saturday from 9 a m to
4 p.m at the Amazon Center The cost is $20 Those interested may

testing muscle reflexes which are believed to correspond to internal
organs If a certain muscle tests weakly, the corresponding organ is
