Crafts workshop open
A two-day fiber-crafts workshop is being offered by the Eugene
Parks and Recreation Department 10 a m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and
Sunday, at Campbell Community Center, 155 High St.
Pin-weaving, coiling and wrapping, stick loom weaving, plaiting
and finger weaving will be taught. Participants will be able to make belts,
wall hangings, baskets, body ornaments. Christmas decorations and
Christmas gifts.
The class costs $10 and must be registered for by Friday, at the
Parks and Recreation Office, 858 Pearl St., 4th floor. For more informa

On Tuesday a representative of
a Portland-based Oregon winery
will be on campus to interview ap
plicants for public relations and
sales work. Students 21 years or
older and who want to talk with the
winery's representative may
come to Student Employment of

Safety class set
The last hunter safety class of

Eugene Parks and Recreation
Department is being offered from

persons 12 years and older.

The Southwest Oregon
Museum of Science and Industry
(SWOMSI) is showing a half-hour
planetarium show entitled 'The
Forgotten Worlds of the Solar Sys
tem,” now through Thursday,
Dec. 16.
The show discusses asteroids,
satelites, comets and the findings
revealed by space probes. Show
times are 1,3 and 5 p.m. Tuesday
through Friday and 11 a m., 1, 3
and 5 p.m. Saturday.
Nevada slates ski tour
The University of Nevada’s annual European Christmas ski tour is
scheduled for Dec 19 to Jan 3.
The 1976 tour offers skiing one week each in Kitzbuehel, Austria
(the Alps) and picturesque Canazei, Italy (the Dolomites), plus two days
in Munich. The $789 price includes airfare, accommodations, break
fasts, dinners, transfers, sightseeing, ski lectures, parties, sight-seeing,
and farewell dinner at the Lowenbrau Brewery in Munich.
Two units of undergraduate or graduate credit in physical education
are available from the University of Nevada, Reno, transferable toother
colleges.
