They are wrong Three other bookstore outlets, The Book and Tea Store, Smith Family Bookstore and The Id carry a wide selection of class text books as well as other related reading materials. The Book and Tea Store, lo cated at 1646 East 19th Avenue, will be carrying text books for ele ven classes this term. Unfortu nately, fall term will be the last time that texts will be available. The owners, Patricia Tubb and Mary Faust attribute this to the rising postal costs and ten percent stu dent discount which virtually consumes most of the low profit margin inherent to school orders. However, a fine assortment of texts will be on hand for fall. The Id, located at 1340 Alder Street was the first store to offer the ten percent student discount. It is also the oldest independent book store in the area. This term the Id will handle the reading re quirements for approximately eighty classes. They also carry a few used books, but are quite re strictive in this aspect due to li mited space. The Smith Family Book Store, located at 1233 Alder Street does not carry new text books, but they offer perhaps the largest supply of used paperback texts. This bookstore is anticipating a move in early 1977, and will be relocated at 758 East 13th Street.
