Lost passes instigate
Campus Security alert
Campus Security has a list of lost and stolen athletic passes. “These
are the ones we ll be looking for at the games," says Sgt. Larry
Spencer, of the Eugene police department.
Spencer points out that failure to return a lost pass is a crime. When
buying passes people should check the number on the pass against
those listed below. If an individual has one of these passes, he should
turn it in to the athletic department or campus security, says Spencer.
The following passes are known to be lost or stolen: 20316, 20343,
20414, 20442, 20478, 20604, 20663, 20812, 21002, 21014, 21046
21119, 21194. 21277, 22258, 22515, 22756. 22879, 22981, 23039,
23107, 23189, 23230, 23272, 23360, 23790, 23863, 23955. 23997
24003.

Victim seeks witness
Leslie Perry is desperate.
On Dec. 22,1975, Leslie was riding her bicycle on Ferry
Street, and was hit by a station wagon traveling on 15th
Avenue. She sustained a fractured shoulder and was aided by
an unidentified male, who was driving by with a friend and
stopped to help.
Leslie's problem?
The doctor bills for her shoulder are piling up, and without
the man who assisted her as a witness, she will have to pay
them herself. With his help, she will be able to collect on the
station wagon owner's insurance.

provide an information table at the EMU main hall on Firday,
January 23, 1976 from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. All undergraduate
minority students who may be interested in the study of law are
invited to solicit information concerning law school and the legal
profession in general.
Backlog delays
dog licenses
Several thousand Lane County
dog owners have not received
their 1976 dog tags from the
County because of a backlog in
processing renewal applications.
Dog owners who have sent in
their fees and rabies certifications
but have not received a license in
return, need not worry about being
in violation of the license law.
Animal control officers have
been instructed to check by radio
before impounding any dog on an
expired license. Clerks will search
the files to see if the 1976 license is
valid, but simply has not been sent
to the dog owner.
Dog owners who have not
mailed their 1976 license fees are
subject to enforcement provisions
of the new county ordinance.
The Animal Control Division in
Room 20 of the Courthouse is
open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. week
days to issue 1976 licenses and
answer questions about the
licensing program.
Chicano art
opens Monday
The Eugene Friends of the
Farm Workers are sponsoring an
exhibit of Chicano art Jan. 26-30
in the Lawrence Gallery on cam
pus.
Co-sponsors for the exhibit are
MEChA, the Asian-American
Student Union, the Third World
Student Coalition, and Cultural
Forum.
The exhibit is part of a Farm
Worker Solidarity Days celebra
tion planned for this week.

University speakers fared well
over the weekend in a variety of
events at two speech tourna
ments.
In a meet at Seattle Pacific Col
lege. speaking on mainly Bicen
tennial topics, Roberta Eggleston
placed second in both persuasive
and impromptu, while the team of
Don Reed and Doug Anderson
took second in cross-examination
debate.
Meanwhile, at Long Beach
State, Ed and Sally Colson placed
third, and Rico Maloney and
Shaun McRea were rated fifth in
the debate tournament
