When you move into your off-campus house or apartment this fall, you'll most likely want a telephone, some electricity or fuel and a place to store your life's savings. Tenants must do this because landlords and apartment managers are By ROGER GREGORY Of the Emerald not allowed to give EWEB notification. EWEB has a $5 "processing charge" to set up new accounts. If you have never lived in Eugene before, this means you. The charge can be paid in advance or with the first bill. EWEB also asks for a permanent home address or reference address (where you can be located). If you have none, there is a maximum $25 deposit, depending upon how much electricity has been used at that apartment in the past. Also, frequent roommate changes should also be made known to EWEB, to avoid hassles with them and with your friends.
