\'ote Mike Bonner for Senior Class Veep
As I embark on this mighty crusade for Senior Class
Veep, I am reminded of the words of that great
Amerikan. George Washington Plunkett: “Ah seen mah
opportunities and Ah took 'em.”
Above all else, I pledge New Leadership and an end to
hoity-toity political rigamarole. Remember, I will not
give you Reprehensible people, surreal issues and
ulterior motives.
Nevertheless. I am not bitter about the performance of
the Wyatt-Loveys Junta. After all. they only did slightly
worse than chimpanzeses and they wer elected in a way
that would have made “Short Pencil Louie” proud. We
have a chance to recall them, if we desire. Recalling
Wyatt-Loveys will show big-time Republican
kingmakers like “Bun” Stadelman that Bill Wyatt is a
real dynamo like Craig Berkman.
Campaign Promises:
If elected:
I will go to the Third Floor.

Statement:
Dan Neal and 1 are running for senior class President
and Vice-President because we both feel there is a lot of
room for the positions to become more than just an
alumni relations service. While both of us have the
experience, background, and enthusiasm to do a good
job at alumni relations, we believe for example, that the
class debt should be paid off and not left to the Univer
sity. I would like to see the class cabinet become visible
and active. We should take on at least one large project
for the year in addition to finding ways to make money to
pay off the debt. There was a time when the Senior Class
left the University a gift, and I’d like to see those days
return.
It is about time we put some new people into our class
offices. Please give Dan and I a chance to put our class
back on its feet.
