Another feature attraction on the second floor is the
Barber Chair Lounge, best described by a tounge-in cheek
sign saying"chairs representative of an era now nearly
forgotten. Perhaps unknown to many, chairs such as these
were once used in specialty shops called barber shops, such
shops were not known only to the academic community.
SECOND FLOOR
Scene of frequent movies, dances concerts and meetings
is the EMU Ballroom on the second floor. It can be reached by
either the main stairway or the elevator from the main floor.
Another large meeting on the second floor is called the Dad's
Room where the ASUO Senate frequently holds its meetings.
THIRD FLOOR
The third floor is occupied by executive offices of fhe
Associated Students of the University of Oregon and the many
branches of comprising the student government. Most offices
are located north of the stairs and elevator. International
Education Center offices are also on the third floor and offer
students information about travel and studies in foreign
countries.
The entire building is open most of the time and the staff
encourages you to come in for an orientation tour and to make
the building your headquarters as so many thousands of others
have done before you.
