to get it . . . candy, magazines, information, check cashing,
papers, cigars, greeting cards, books, tickets and classified
ads for the Daily Emerald are just a few of the items sold by
this busy, busy place. If you can't find it, just ask one of the
friendly clerks.

The United States Post Office leases space in the EMU to better serve the
University community. It's located in the north end of the building near public
telephones and the browsing and meeting rooms.
If your new school shoes pinch just a little, you can come into the lounging area
just to the left of the main doors, kick them off and heave a sigh of relief. Sit and
relax as long as you like. A good place to sit and wonder what the other guy is
thinking.
Sun worshipers have their day, too, when they
use the patio located in the center of activities on
the main floor. It's pleasant to eat your lunch
outside on warm days, but if you don't care for a
tan you can sit on the inside and look out at those
who do.
Few "regulars" know it by its name, but the
dining area nearest the cafeteria is called the
annex. Whatever you call it, its yours to use and
enjoy.
It's mighty handy to have a Xerox machine so
close to the center of activities as this one located
right outside the door to the main desk.
