You find the Outdoor Program office by going around to the
south side of the building and going down a flight of stairs and
through the basement door. Here you will find complete in
formation about the university's outdoor programs. Great
things happen here. If outdoor activity is your cup of tea, hurry
on down and make yourself known.
Try it, you'll like it. The recreation area was
installed especially for those who have a little
leisure time on their hands now and then. If
you let your imagination go for a minute or
two, you will find something you will like in the
pecreation area, whether it be a game of table
Tennis,a little joust with a pin ball machine or
other game of skill, a few racks of pool,
bowling, and shuffleboard. You'll nearly
always find spectators willing to help kibbitz
if you're not inclined to take partin the games
themselves. Make youself at home, wander
around and get acquainted with the building
and the people.
Those long fall and spring evenings can be turned into a little something
extra if you take advantage of the EMU's canoe rental service. Lean back
and watch the fleecy white clouds float gently while you drift down the
Mill Race. It's great for relaxation and meditation. Try it by asking at the
recreation desk.
