senators standing committees

resume of his responsibilities

OSPIRG elects new state head
In a Tuesday announcement, state OSPIRG officials in Portland
have appointed Thomas Guilbert. former legal consultant to Con
necticut Action Now. Inc., acting director of statewide OSPIRG.
OSPIRG stands for Oregon Student Public Interest Research Group.
The state board of directors also announced two projects in the very
early state of development The first aims to find a new rate structure
for public utilities that would generate revenues equal to those of the
present structure
The second is a study of advertising claims made for certain bolt-on
accessories for automobiles
