The Oregon Daily Emerald
“Green Machine” meets the
ASUO “Other Team” in an im
portant conference touch football
game this Sunday at 2 p.m. at
Hayward Field.
The Green Machine is coming
off a forfeit victory Sunday
against a KEED radio team -
which was unable to play. The 1-0
record is the best of any ODE
team in six years.
The Emerald squad has
scheduled a rugged practice and
scrimmage today at 5:30 p.m.
outside Allen Hall.
The public is invited to watch
and cheer on the dedicated
gridiron gladiators.
Amstels win twice
The University Amstel soccer
team captured two victories over
the weekend, defeating a weak
Lane Community College team 9
1 on Friday, and coming from
behind to defeat the Eugene
Bavarians 6-3 on Sunday.
The Amstels meet the
University Coots Sunday at 1
p.m. on the Hayward Field
practice field. The public is in
vited to attend free of charge.
