Postpones Survey
Postponement of the 13th Ave
nue survey and addition of a
sidewalk beside the cemetery
lot across from McArthur Court
were the main items of business
discussed at a nicotine of the
Huilding and Crounds Commit
tee last week.
The survey of traffic on 13th
Avenue, scheduled originally
for Thursday and Friday of this
week, has been postponed un
til a later date which cannot
yet be revealed, according to

mittee The survey is a step
toward the projected closing
of the street.
A sidewalk on University
Street is being planned be
cause many students have com
plained about the muddy con
ditions on that side of the street,
he said.
Inter Fraternity Council has
volunteered to provide labor for
the project and Eugene city
manager Hugh McKinley will
obtain boards and a roller. Now
all that is needed to begin work
is crushed rock and asphalt The
University, it is hoped, will be
able to provide necessary funds.

nal Hevenue every year because
the postman cannot deliver
them.
Illegible names or addresses
cause many refund checks to
he returned undelivered. This
can be avoided by carefully
printing or typing your name,
address and zip code in the
proper place on the return, and
entering your correct social se
curity number in the space pro
vided, Erickson said.
If you move after you file
your return, leave your for
warding address with the post
office. It is also a good idea
to send your new address to
the Internal Hevenue Service.
