2. How many classes per week?---One, three hour class per week.
3 Is there homework? __Yes . . . Each student is required to practice an
hour a day, six days a week. Much of this practice
will be in 30 and 45 minute segments.
* 4 Do the classes have to be taken in sequence? ..Yes . . . Each student is required to practice 50
minutes per day, six days a week. Much of this
practice will be in 15 and 20 minute segments.
5. What if a student misses a class? .The student would notify the instructor and he
would arrange for a make-up lesson.
■ 6 Is there an age limit? ----Yes ... Our program is designed for students
from 13 years old and up.

We guarantee to increase the reading efficiency of each stu
dent by AT LEAST THREE TIMES with equal or better com
prehension. We will refund the entire tuition of any student
who does not triple his reading efficiency as measured by
the beglntng and subsequent tests, or the student may retake
the course free of charge. A refund is conditional upon the
student attending all classes or having made up missed ses
sions with the teacher. The student must also have practiced
the required number of hours, following the assignments as
outlined by the teacher. The average student may expect a
five-time increase in reading speed, and an improvement in
compr-hension and recall. Any student who must withdraw
from the course for any reason may re-enter any subsequent
courses at any future time, at no additional cost

Mr. McGowan has spent five years teaching in the public educational system. He is a seasoned
teacher with a fine background. Mr. McGowan served as President of the Sherman Cohnty Teacher
Education Association, worked as a member of the Oregon Council for Curriculum Improvement, and
was a member of the Oregon Principal's Association. He has an excellent knowledge of teaching
