FSC Plans Activities tor Summer
The Faculty-Student Committee
to Stop the War in Viet Nam has
announced an intensified cam
paign to arouse campus interest
this summer. Events include a
peace trip dance, art festival,
and production of Barbara Car
son’s satiric drama "McBlrd.”
"I'art of our scries of anti
war dims may have to be de
ferred to full term," said Ml
chuel Seguri, FSC chairman, "but
the faculty conducted seminar
workshop is definitely on. We'll
have a speaker in July."
In the past FSC has sponsor
ed Southeast Asia experts Ber
nard Fall and Felix Green, and
Donald Duncan, the Green Beret
who resigned in disgust at the
pointless brutality of United
States military acts in Viet Nam
As weekly routine FSC will
continue to staff its literature
table on the Student Union ter
race. Membership in FSC is open
to all students and faculty who
oppose the war. Persons interested
in participating in the summer
program may drop by the terrace
