Numerous campus leaders in
cluding the editor of the Emer
ald, the campus walk sweeper,
and the student body president
have announced they will resign
from their respective offices with
in the next month

day that he will leave his office
April 17. "They won’t let me
stay any longer,” he complained.

sons “I’m sick and tired of the
job,” he said, “and you had better i
deltete my deroratory comments
about my editorial page editor
who has actually done a wonder-1
ful job."

To fill the vacancies, an all
campus election will be held April
17, and a new editor will be se

admit that, unfortunate as it
is, we must sacrifice ourselves
for the good of all. I must admit
that I feel especially bad that
the fraternity system will do the
greatest good for the University
by leaving it."
Alexander Wingarten, care
taker of Pearl Buck School said,
With that fraternity system gone.
I don't know who's going to clean
the place up now. This has caused
me a great deal of unhappiness.
I was a fraternity man myself
and I know the experience can
mean a lot to a young man.”
