THE DEFERRED enrollment
will not be applied to Oregon resi

Under the plan effective Sep

from non-resident undegraduate

to enroll in the fall term.
THESE STANDARDS will be a
3.0, or B average, on their previ

high school or college, or compen

for out-of-state students is a 2.5

Quonsets Moved
To New Locale
Six qtonset huts were moved
last week from the center of the
campus to a site across the Mill
race and adjacent to the Univer
sity Physical plant.
THE SIX huts were the last of
the temporary quonsets on the
main campus erected when the
main Hood of post-war enroll
ments created classroom and
building shortages. The huts were
between Fenton and Common
wealth Halls.
THE HUTS have been used for
classroom purposes. In the new
site, three of the huts will be
used for physical plant storage.
One will be assigned to the Muse
um of Natural History for stor
age, and the biology department
will have one for a plant growth
workshop and another for a re
search laboratory.
Landscaping of the present site
of the huts will be started as soon
as the movers complete their job,
Wright said.
