Grade Trophy
Kappa Alpha Theta was award
ed City Panhellenic’s scholarship
cup at the recent monthly Pan
hellenic meeting. The cup is given
annually to the sorority showing
the greatest grade improvement
in competition with all women's
living organizations and the high
est over-all grade point average.
Alpha Chi Omega was present
ed the cup for the second highest
grades.
Included in the meeting was a
discussion of the recent formal
rush period which was met with
approval. Panhellenic support was
also given to the Greater Oregon
visitation program as explained
by guest speaker Jim Larpen
teur. chairman of the student or
ganization.
Women's rifle team
plans first meeting
Women who are interested in
shooting with the UO women's
rifle team will meet at an or
ganizational meeting in the SU,
Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Lessons will also be given to
those who are interested in
shooting only for recreation. The
rifle lange is located in the
ROTC building. Rena Barsanti is
advisor for the team.
