Show Features Judy Garland The Judy Garland show will appear in McArthur court, July 14. The show, designed to feature Miss Garland throughout, has a company of 40 performers in cluding Jerry Gray and his or chestra, comedian Frank Fon taine, the Hi-Lo’s singing group and many others. It is staged by Charles Wal ters. a leading* Hollywood di rector. Special material and songs were written by Robert Edens, anJU-G-M writer. Miss Garland is one of the great names in show business and has appeared in nearly every phase of entertainment. Her most recent success was in “A Star Is Born," which won her the Academy Award nomination. Plans for the sale of tickets will be announced in a few days. 'Kiss Me Kate Summer Starter Leading off a full summer sea- j son of productions at University Theater this year will be another run of the Broadway musical, "Kiss Me Kate,” which completed an eight-day presentation this week to full houses every night.! Most of the cast which appeared in the May production of the Cole Porter hit will be back for the summer production June 23, 24 and 25. Also planned for the summer season is presentation of the light comedy, “Kind Sir,” in an arena style production July 8 and 9. “Club Intime,” the popular night club-style revue held Wed nesday evenings in the fishbowl of the Student Union during sum mers is being resumed starting July 13, according to Gene Wy ley, theater business manager. The weekly party includes an orchestra, dancing on the terrace, floor show, and soft drinks at the SU soda bar. At least two other new shows will be presented during the summer, Mrs. Wiley announced. One will be an arena-style pro duction and the other a new dramatic show on the main: stage. Tickets for the summer pre sentation of “Kiss Me Kate” will go on sale at the theater box office at 1 p.m. June 20.
