Croley happily.
‘Teddy.” Croley. as everyone
calls her. met her future hus
band, Sam Skillern. at a party
her freshman year. Their wed
ding will be held in Miss Croley's

'nome church. St. Michael's and
All Saint’s Episcopal Church in
Portland.
Trip to Las Vegas
A trip including Las Vegas, the
Payette Lakes and the Wallowa
Mountains will follow their wed
ding on July 9.
Lewiston. Idaho. Skillern’s
home town, will be the couple's
destination until they go to his
assigned post. Skillern is in the
Army transportation corps and
his future taride replied, “we
hope we will be traveling to Fort
Eustis, Virginia, sometime next
fall."
Christ mas ‘Their Day’
Christmas seems to have been
an important point in their ro
mance. as they were pinned on
Christmas day, 1952. and en
gaged the following Christmas.

j and a dress for her trousseau.
Active In Activities
I She has been active in campus
j activities, as evidenced by her
( membership in Kwaraa as a
j sophomore. She is mujoring in
| speech correction and spending
| time working in the speech clinic.
Her fiance is a business major
and a member of Phi Gamma
Delta fraternity.

Dinners Scheduled
For Senior Women
Dinners for senior women on
campus will be given by the Am
erican Association of University
Women April 27 ami 28 from
7:30 to 9 p.m. The purpose of
these dinners is to acquaint all
University women with the AA
UW.
On April 27 the dinners will be
given at the home of Mrs. A. A.
Ksslinger. 2163 Harris St., nod
Mrs. C. S. Gregg. 960 Hilyard.
Dinners April 28 will be given
; at the home of Mrs. Ray Hawk.
