    Sigma Chi's Host
Alumni Reunion
New off I corn of Sigma Chi fra
ternity will participate in one of
the chapter'* largest project* this
weekend when they host alumni
and active* from the entire state
for an alumnl-reunion and observ
ance of the fraternity a 100th
annlveraary.
It will a I mo be the 45th birth
day celebration for Beta Iota,
the local chapter. Don Smith la
general chairman of the centen
nial committee, which Include* all
event* of the weekend.
Principal apcaker for the Hun
day-noon banquet will be Federal
Judge George Boldt, a member of
Sigma Chi'* board of grand trus
tees. He will represent the na
tional fraternity for the centen
nial.
Robert Smith, Eugene chapter
adviser, will also speak, as will
Kent Dorwin, Beta Iota's newly
Installed president. Bud Hinksop
will serve a* master of cere
monies.
A new award, to become an
annual presentation, will be a
trophy and plaque for the alum
nus who has done the most for
tins chapter during the year. It
will be presented at the banquet.
Annua! 'Squeeze'
Music by Renfrow
Darrel Renfrow and his band
will provide the music for the
annual Lemon-Orange Squeeze
after the Oregon-OSO basket
ball game here Saturday night.
The dance, sponsored by the
Student Union dance committee,
will la- held In the SU ballroom
Admission is 23 cents per person
and campus clothes^ are in or
der.
The traditional Ducks and Bea
vers theme will be carried out in
decorations. Intermission enter
tainment. will be a feature of the
dance. Acts will be announced
Saturday night.
