Kremer Publishes
German Proverbs
Edmund F. Kremer, professor
of Germanic languages, has re
cently received notice that his
book, "German Proverbs and
Proverbial Phrases' with Their
Knglish Counterparts," has been
accepted for publication by the
Stanford University Press.
The book is a collection of over
1350 proverbs and proverbial
phrases, with German text and
English "counterpart" for each.
Since an equivalent in ordinary
Knglish use is matched with each
German item, it is a collection
of English proverbs as well.
The 120-page book is sched
uled to be published May 30.
