cial delegate last summer.
Religion Professor To Represent State
Oregons representative to the
Rockefeller brothers theological
fellowship program will be
James C. Perkins, acting head of
I the department of religion.
In order to be considered for
the fellowships, students must
be nominated by university and
[college professors or administra
tors, clergymen or other quali
i fied persons. Perkins job is to
handle all the nominations from
the state.
The program gives one year of
theological study to outstanding
students in the Unit'd States
and Canada so they may con
sider entering the ministry. It
is sponsored by the American
association of theological schools.
Selection of state representa
tives to handle nominations is
made by the religious and spirit
ual activities of the faculty.
