Activities fit Westminster

elder, ghost stories and refresh

time during the evening.
A coffee and doughnut hour at
9 a.m. will open Hunday'a actlvi

services at churches of the stu
dents’ choice.
A chapel service will be held
Wednesday noon. In the evening,
the fellowship RUpper at 5:30 will
be followed by a student panel
discussion on "Christion Respon
sibility In National Affairs.”
The leaders and advisers of the
five commissionH of Westminster
Foundation will meet Wednes
day noon to plan topics for next
term.
Channing Club
Channlng Club will hold a
Hallowe'en party at the Unttar
lnn church, 11th and Ferry, at 7
p.m. .Sunday instead of the usual
discussion hour. The party will
be a masquerade with dancing,
games and refreshments. Cos
tumes, however, are not neces
sary.
Christian House
"This Ole House" will be the
theme for a Hallowe'en party at
8 tonight at Christian House.

recreation committee are in
charge of the party and have
warned students to wear their

Sunday's emphasis will be on
"The Christian Opportunity in
Politics" with Harold Johnson
Jr. as speaker and discussion
leader at the 5:30 p.m. fellowship
hour. H. V. Johnson Sr. will lead
the Voters' Forum fireside on
"Men We Arc Voting On” from
6 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Both men
are Eugene lawyers.
The 9:15 a.m. Donut Hour Sun
day is followed by a Bible class
led by Victor P. Morris, dean of
the school of business.
The executive council will meet
at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Plans
for a Christmas service project
and for the semi-annual Talent
Show will be discussed.
Inter-Varsity Christian
Fellowship
Oeotge Bauder, Inter-Varsity
staff member for Oregon, will
speak on "IVGF in Perspective"
during the jugular IVCF meet
ing at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the
alumni lounge of Gerlingyr hall.
The Bible Standards Institute
bass trio will present a short
medley of gospel songs.
“Fall Fiesta," annual fall
party for Inter-Varsity, will be
held Saturday, Nov. 6, at 7:30
p.m. In Gerlinger hall. Games
and refreshments will be on the
program.
Luther House
The Northwestern regional
conference of the Lutheran Stu
dent association will be held at
Camp Magruder on the Oregon
coast this weekend. Students in
terested in attending the meet
ing should call Helen Huses,
4-7373 to arrange transportation.
Sunday evening at 6 Luther
House, 1376 Alder, will hold open
house.
Wednesday noon luncheons are
open to any interested students.
The food is prepared by women
of the Lutheran churches. A
short talk by Vern Stenberg,
Luther House counselor, will fol
low the luncheon.
Luther House will hold a party
Friday, Nov. 5, and the program
will range from bobbing for
apples, to playing "Pit.”
Wesley Foundation
A Hallowe’en. Ghost Roast
party will be sponsored by Wes
ley Foundation, 1236 Kincaid,
Saturday beginning at 8 p.m.
Food, fun and laughs have been
promised. Girls are advised to
wear pedal pushers.
The Koinonia Klass will con
t!ntie ith meetings at Wesley at
9:30 a.m. Sunday.
Sunday evening, after a light
supper at 5:30, the three interest
groups in the "University of
Life" series will meet to continue
their discussions.
A second program in the In
ternational Student series will
be held Tuesday following the
usual potluck supper at 5:30.

at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
