Also in the news this summer, Sharlene Stewart, who is now attending the University of Michigan, announced her engagement to Dan McComas. of the University. Early this fall Barbara Gilpin announced her engagement to Bill Bode, Sigma Chi. At Chi Omega Of resent interest at the Chi Omega house was the pinning of Lois Kathan and Dick DuBosch, ATO. Luella Adams has announced her engagement to Jean Boddewyn; Ruth Joseph to Dave Wisnom, a Phi Delt at Willamette; and Marcia Newland to Loren Loveland, Phi Kappa Sigma. Bobette Gilmore and Myron Bagley, ATO, were married this fall. Myron is finishing his senior year at Oregon and Bobette is currently employed by the university. Shirley McCoy announced her engagement to Don McIntyre, Phi Psi, early this fall. Marcia Dutcher and Gary Jones, Theta Chi, who were engaged last spring are planning a March wedding. Women from each house will exchange with women in another ' for dinner, with each paying a dime. Proceeds from these din ners go to the Hazel Schwering scholarship fund, established in memory of the former dean of women at the University. Judy Harris, senior in chemistry, holds the award for the current year. YWCA House Reps Discuss Campaign There will be a meeting of YWCA house representatives at 4 p.m. today. Final steps of the membership campaign will be discussed. The program will include dis cussion of program plans and how to keep the old and new members informed of Y activi ties.
