Baptist 1 mull Fellowship "What Christ Moans to Me" will be the theme of Sunday evening's Baptist Youth Fellow ship at 15:30 p.m. in the First Baptist church. k«k High street. Participants in the program will include members of University sororities and fraternities, varsity athletes and scholarship winners. At 7:30 p.m. the youth group will join the church congregation to see Billy Graham's hour-long sound film, "The London Cru sade.” Baptist Church Baptist students and their friends will be honored at a buf fet supper Sunday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Baptist church parsonage, 1002 Potter street. The supper is sponsored by Ihe Rev. and Mrs. Charles W. Moore and the University committee of the Kmerald Baptist church. Charming Club A talk on "Myths of the Ancient and Near Fast” will be sponsored by Channing club at ; the Unitarian church, Uth and Kerry streets, at 7 p.m. Sunday. Quest speaker will tie Edward L. Kricson, Unitarian church minis ter. The regular Sunday program will begin at 9:15 am. with a Donut Hour, followed by Bible study, led by Victor P. Morris, dean of the school of business. Student membership Sunday will be observed at the 10:50 morning worship service at First Christian church, 1166 Oak street. Students will be guests of the First Christian church at a sup per at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Dyle Spears, Christian House presi dent; Joanne Flanders, chairman, and Christian House officers are in charge of tt^e program, which will follow the theme, "Students Around the World.’’ The supper is complimentary, but tickets are necessary and may be obtained at the church, Christian House and dormitories. Cars will pick up students at Carson, Straub, Hend ricks and Susan Campbell halls at 5:10 p.m. Plans are being made for the group’s annual fall retreat at Kit son Springs Resort, Saturday, Oct. 9. Don Smith, special stu dent, is general chairman. Stu dents who wish to attend should register at Christian House. Christian Science The Christian Science student organization will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday on the first floor of Ger linger hall. Adviser for the group is Mrs. William J. Wheeler. Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship Fred A. Beard, sales manager for Koke-Chapman Printing com pany, will address the first meet ing of the Inter-Varsity Chris tian Fellowship at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Student Union. Beard is former superintc ndent of the Uni versity press. Norm Gould, transfer student from HOCK, will Vie gong leader with Cal Hoover, sophomore in architecture, at the piano. Rich ard Koc, president, will prcKide. IVCF will continue its dally noon prayer sessions in addition to sponsoring two campus Bible study groups each week. Time and place of these meetings will be announced in this column next week. Newman Club L«en Casanova, Newman club adviser, will speak to new stu dents at the group's first fall meeting at 8 pm.
