Charming Club

Baptist Youth Fellowship
A Moody Bible Institute film,
“Prior Claim,” will be shown at
First Baptist church Sunday at
7:30 p. m. This is a 50-minute
science film on the facts of nature.
Westminster Foundation
Members will gather at 6:45 p.
m. today for a theater party to
see “The Robe”. Refreshments will
be served afterwards at the house.
Sunday coffee hour at 9 a. m.
will be followed by Bible study on
the Book of Isaiah. Loris Larson
will lead the vesper service and
an exposition will be given by Rev.
Thom Hunter on “The Gospel of
the Isms.” At 7, p. m. the group
will have a theater party to see
“Martin Luther.”
Wednesday chapel service, 12:30,
will be led by Maurine Rice. The
regular fellowship supper begins
at 5:30 that evening.

Pact Emphasized
Students are requested not to
participate in any raids or other
activities likely to result in pro
perty damage or personal injury
in connection with the Oregon
State college game next Saturday,
the office of student affairs an
nounced Thursday.
The office of the director of
men’s affairs has had an agree
ment of long-standing with the
office of the OSC dean of men. The
terms of the agreement provide
that students, individually arid
collectively, shall be liable for
the costs of repairing any damage
they might do at the other insti
tution, and that any students ap
prehended in such pre-game acti
vities will be suspended.
WSSF Donor List
Topped by Oregon
Oregon topped the list of 31
Northwestern colleges and junior
colleges in contributions to the
World Student Service Fund, ac
cording to a notice received this
week. The WSSF drive was held
on campus spring term.
A total of $1,703.80 was collec
ted, as compared to the $1,958.98
which took first place for Oregon
in 1952.
In second place with $1,260 was
the University of Washington.
With a total of $1,172.41, Oregon
State college was third. Washing
ton State college was fourth with
$937.44.
Approximately $10,700 was col
lected from the 31 colleges report
ing. This total was well over the
$9,217 donated by college students
in 1952.

Newman Club
Dale Cooley will be the guest
speaker at Sunday’s meeting to
be held at 7 p. m. in Sacred Heart
hospital’s chapel. The Eugene bus
inessman will speak on “The Phil
osophy of Catholic Education.”
The meeting, at 7 p. m„ will be
followed by a social hour.

A Sadie Hawkins party is plan
ned at 8:30 tonight at Christian
House.
A work party will be staged all
day Saturday. '
Doughnut hour is Sunday, 9:15
a. m. Sunday evening at 5:30,
“Prayer Calls” will be the topic of
discussion by students.

dio workshop drama. “The Pussy
Cat and the Expert Plumber,” by
Arthur Miller, will be held today
from 3 to 5 p. m. in Studio C of

Jackson, director. There is a large
cast with both men and women's
parts, said Jackson. The drama
will be given Thursday over
KOAC, Corvallis.
