WESTMINSTER FOUNDATION
A taffy pull will be held at
Westminster at 8 tonight. The
Sunday coffee hour begins at 9
a.m. followed by a talk on “What
is Christianity’s Answer to Com
munism?”
Wednesday chapel is held at
12:30 p.m. and fellowship supper
that evening at 5:30 will feature
Daniel H. Sellard, Eugene Regis
ter-Guard, speaking on “Freedom
of the Press.”
WESLEY FOUNDATION
A snack supper will be served
at 6 p.m. Sunday for 25 cents. The
final speaker on the series “This
I Believe,” will be E. L. Johnson,
dean of the college of liberal arts.
A local physician. Dr. John
Cockrell, will speak on “The Psy
chology of Women,” at the Tues
day evening potluck.
Oct. 30 a Halloween box social
is planned for 6 p.m.
LUTHERAN STUDENT HOUSE
A tour through Weyerhauser
Timber co. mill is sponsored to
night by the Lutheran Student as
sociation. Those attending are
asked to meet at the house at 7
p.m.
Sunday supper at 5:30 will be
followed by a talk on "Are You
Free.” A free lunch will be served
Wednesday.
CHRISTIAN HOUSE
"Donut Hour” at 9:15 a.m. Sun
day will be followed by Bible class.
Transportation will be provided to
the First Christian church. Sun
day evening worship will be held at
5:30 followed by a skit on campus
gripes.
NEWMAN CLUB
A breakfast after the 9 a.m.
mass will be held by Newman club
in the St. Mary’s grade school
cafeteria Sunday for all Catholic
students.
