    'Parade of Songs' Slated at Mac Court Tonight I

year's All-campus Sing, will open
at H tonight In McArthur court.
Sixteen houses will participate,
with float parade, Sing and other
trophy presentations scheduled on
the program.
Tickets are on sale for 90 cents
at the Student Union main desk.
The eight finalists opening the
Sing are University house "All The
Things You Are;" Phi Kappa Psi,
"High Noon;” Alpha Chi Omega,
"Syncopated Clock;” Campbell
club, “Youu’ll Never Walk Alone;”
Chi Omega, “The Nightingale;”
Kappa Sigma, "Halls of Ivy;” Re
bec house, Dedication;” and Susan
Campbell hall, "My Heart Stood
Still."
Eight In Second Half
Singing in the second half after
a 10 minute intermission are High
land house, "Madame Jeanette;”
Sigma Alpha Epsilon, "The Lost
Frosh Win Tug of War
The freshman tug of war team
defeated the sophomore squad in
their contest Friday at 1 p.m. on
the millraec.
Tappings Slated
For Luncheon
Tappings for Friars, Mortar
Board, Scabbard and Blade and
Asklepaids will highlight the pro
gram of today’s all-campus lunch
eon, according to Cathy Tribe, gen
eral chairman.
-Also scheduled are the presen
tation of the Junior Weekend court,
Jack Loughary’s band and Merrick
hall's chorus. Don Parr will serve
as the master of cermonies.
The luncheon will begin at 11:45
Serving the picnic-type food will
be the members of Kwama, Skull
and Dagger, Phi Theta Upsiion and
Alpha Phi Omega honories.
Tickets for the affairs will cost
47 cents. Student tickets will be
available through the living organ
izations, with guest ducats on sale
at the main desk of the Student
Union or at the Co-op. They also
may be purchased on the grounds
just prior to the picnic.
No lunches will be served in the
living organizations today.
In case of rain Saturday morn
ing. the scene of “Homan Holiday,’’
will be transferred from the old
campus to McArthur court.
Sun3Eght Serenade
To End Schedule
Junior Weekend will close with
the Sunlight Serenade at 3 p.m.
Sunday in the open air amphi
theatre in back of the music school.
No tickets are needed.
The program will be moved into
the music school auditorium in case
of bad weather.
Highlighting the Serenade, the
men’s and women's houses taking
first place in the All-Campus Sing
tonight will sing their winning
songs.

ond and third place cups to the
winners of the float parade. The

librarian. Hintz will also announce
the v/inner of the Peter Pauper
I Press essay contest.
Tlie Friars’ scroll, awarded to a
| university faculty member, will be
presented by Pat Dignan, ASUO
president. Dr. Frederick M. Hunter
will award the Maurice Harold
I Hunter scholarship.
Athletic Award Slated
Don Kirsch will present the Em
erald athletic award. Presentation
is slated of the Quota club scholar
1 ship and the Panhellenic award.
The Alpha Xi Delta award will be
made by house president Mary
Ann Moore.

Ending the All-campus Sing

co-chairmen, will present winner’s
cups to the men’s and women’s
houses in first, second and third
