The name, which was pinned on him in his childhood by an uncle, has nothing to do with the color of his hair, which is iron grey . To satisfy all kinds of needs, America’s nail producers make more than 100 different types of iron and steel nails. Last year L’CLA was the only team to hold Oregon score less. It was Sanders who devised the defense for the college all stars that was credited with hold ing the Los Angeles Itams to only one touchdown in the game at Chicago this summer. Oregon, although a little more experienced than last year, is still a green team, Casanova said. Due to many changes in the line, most of the positions are new to players. The loss of Dick Patrick, Mike Sikora, Don McCauley and Lou Kolias, mainstays of last season's line, made vacancies without ade quate replacements. Novilfoff and Hodges The principle loss in the back field was that of scat-back Tommy Edwards. Otherwise the backfield is pretty well intact with good strength at the fullback position in Tom Novikoff and Cece Hodges. In yesterday's two hour drill the team worked on offense, defense, punting, and placement kicks.
