75th Anniversary (kaciilcast Today A. dramatization of highlights in the 75-year history of the Uni v- rsity of Oregon will be broadcast Thursday over radio station KOAC. ai d the campus station KWAX in conjunction with the university s anniversary celebration this week end. The program, directed by Glenn Slarlin, faculty advisor of the campus station, will dramatize some of the problems that con it outed founders of The university and major events of the years lead ing up to the 75th anniversary. •KOAC will broadcast the pro gram from 4:30 to 5 p.m. today, whde KWAX has scheduled a re in oadcast at 6:30 p.m. today. Off-Campus Frosh Asked of Progress All off-campus freshman men and women are requested to report to the office of student affairs and fill out mid-term progress cards not later than Wednesday, Cy Kl lingson, men's counselor, announc ed. Progress cards are filled out by the students and are then given to the instructors so that they may check the student’s progress. Students living in the dormito ries will have a chance to fill out these cards at the dormitories, but off-campus students must fill them out at the office of student aftairs. Pianist to Present Recital Tuesday Grace Harrington, pianist, will present a concert at 8:15 pm. Tuesday in the School of Mimic auditorium. Phi Bet, Phi Mu Al pha Sinfonia. and Mu Phi Epsilon, music honoraries, and the music school are sponsoring the perform ance. Four times soloist with the Port land Symphony orchestra, includ ing the Standard Hour broadcast, Miss Harrington has also won honorable mention for solo work with the NBC Symphony. She held a music scholarship at Juillurd School of Music from 1937 to 1948. Students came up with some unique ideas. Some suggested growing glass where the street now is, building an overpass and charging toll.
