Few girls were left in the house
last weekend when the majority
of them went to Portland to the
wedding of Marian Heath to Glen
Warberg, Theta Cht. The couple
will live in Eugene.

Howard. Delores announced her
engagement at the Medford Coun
try Club Sunday afternoon. Also,

graduate, last Sunday.
Recently engaged was Edna Mc
Curdy to former Delt and graduate
of the University of Oregon, Skip
Freeman. Marian Gordon also an
nounced her engagement this week
end at the DZ house. She is en
gaged to Lester Hukari, formerly
of OSC.
Louise Leding was featured solo
ist with the University Singers on
their tour last week and in their
program at the Student Union.
Joan Jacobs was installed as vice
president of Amphibians, women's
swimming club.
Maria Ayres, foreign student
from Brazil, gave a talk at a house
fireside .Sunday night. Maria talk
ed on her experiences at the for
eign students’ seminar in Arizona
this summer.
At Highland House...
A good time was had by all the
freshman when they treked to the
beach last Sunday. Their party
was complete with weinie roast,
sunburn, and that never failing
accident of one unlucky gal falling,
completely clothed, into the ocean.
Helen .Jackson is the latest High
land girl to Join the ranks of those
who are pinned. She accepted Bill
Frye's J’hi Kappa Psi pin.
