New UO Theater to Hold Tryouts Friday in Villard
Tryouts for the first major in
the-round production of the new
University Theater will be con
ducted by director Ottilie Seybolt
at 4 and 7 Friday afternoon in
room 104 Villard.
Mrs. Seybolt is easting: roles in
“Goodbye, My Fancy,” recent
Broadway comedy, which will be
presented Mar. 2, 3, 5,6, (, 8, 9,
and 10 in the new “intimate theat
er” in Villard Hall.
An in-the-round production is
one which uses central staging,
the audience sitting on an ioui
sides of the acting area. The small
theater in Villard, which completes
the trio of theaters in the Univer
sity Theater plant, is now being re
modeled for use as an area for
major theater productions.
City Businessman to Show Films
Karl Thunemann, new manager
of Hadley’s women’s store, will
show colored pictures of South
America from 6-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan.
7, at Plymouth House, 490 E. 13th.
Thunemann, who lived in Buenos
Aires, Argentina, for two years,
will also speak on the culture, hab
its, and attitudes of South Ameri
can people. The meeting is open to
all persons. __

accidentally killed and 15,000 injured, many maimed for life. One of these could 1* you. ^
A large part of these casualties will be caused by traffic accidents, but drowning* f?l!s,
firearms, poisons, burns and other accidents will help to swell the total.

mon sense in what you do and how you do it over the week end. "
