Officials View Plaque
GOV. DOUGLAS McKAY (right) stopped to inspect the main lobby
memorial plaque on a visit to the campus. With him is Student Union
Director Dick Williams. The plaque dedicates the Union to all stu
dents of the University who served in the armed forces of the Unit
ed States; on it are listed students who died in W'orld War II.
Religious Notes
WESTMINSTER HOUSE
Westminster House will be'open tonight for dancing, singing, games,
and refreshments after the SU dedication.
Students and alumni are invited to drop in for coffee and doughnuts
after the game Saturday.
“Can You Mix Religion With Business?” will be the question for
the Sunday night fellowship, with Hart Larsen, owner of Hart Lar
sen’s*as guest speaker.
CHRISTIAN HOUSE
This weekend will be open house for all homecoming alumni. Inform
al games and activities are planned for Friday and Saturday.
“What Do We Believe?” will be discussed by Rev. Paul S. Mellish,
pastor of Central Presbyterian Church, as the opening of a new discus
sion series Sunday. The program will begin with a sing at 5:30 p.m.,
followed with a worship service led by Alice Aherin.
' Maurice Morello will be the speaker at the second in the series of
International Teas, to be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday with the dis
cussion centering around France.
PLYMOUTH CLUB
W. D. Richins, associate professor of business, will speak on the
ijdorman Church at the Sunday evening service.
Plymouth Club-is open every afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday, for college students. An open house is held every
Friday at the club.

will be a fireside lasting from 7-9
p.m. on November 10.
