USA Steering Committee Honoraries' Condition Tops for Saturday Tilt Condition of the Kwama and Skull and Dagger football teams reached its highest point Thursday and managers announced that practices would taper off in preparation for Saturday’s battle at the Sophomore Picnic. The Hendrick’s Park training camp of Kwama, sophomore women’s honorary, was the scene of last minute bustle as “Bush League" Eush and “Fifi" Lefebrve filed their fingernails. “All’s fair in love and war, and this is war," was the only explanation the girls would give for such action. Rumor had it that since Skull and Dagger ruled out spikes the Kwama’s are resorting to other methods of combat. Less radical training was in order for the Skull and Dagger men as they contemplated no shaving until the contest in order to scare the wo men into a forfeit. The inability of several to grow beards made the move inadvisable however. Tentative lineups released by team managers are as follows: Kwama Position Skull and Dagger Sue “Broken Finger” Bachelder ... P.Dick “King Kong" Lee Mary “Weakeyes” Hall. C.Bob “Rapid” Gray Virginia “Cornflakes” Kellog.IB...Roger “Spider” Nudd Bernice “Bubbles” Gartrell.2B.Herb “Fat Boy” Lombard Marjory “Bush League” Bush.3B.Vernon “Lefty Red” Beard Yvonne “Fifi” Lefebrve .RF.Marty “Pee Wee’ Scroggins Lorna “The Lip” Larson .CF....Dick “Rich Legs” McLaughlin Lillian “Sure Fire*’ Schott.RF..Vernon “Stealing” Stolen Delores “Leather Lungs ’ Kletzing SS.Beldon “Peanuts” Owens Carol “The Curve” Udy was named alternate pitcher for Kwama. The team managers appointed Donna “Buzz” Buse and Merv “Specs” Hamp ton as umpire influencers. Professor Attends Meet P. W.
