RatsChooseCorvallis For Rodent Appeal With rats who know locations best, it’s Corvallis two to one, ac cording to Donald C. Dickey, Eu gene rodent exterminator. Dickey estimated that there were 30,000 rats in Corvallis, out numbering the city’s residents by more than two to one, and causing $800,000 damage annually. An uninterrupted supply of rats move into the city constantly be cause of its location on the Wil lamette river, Dickey stated. He added that rodent population is probably encouraged by the fact that 90 percent of the garbage cans in downtown alleys are left uncov ered. ATTENTION!
