Campus Malady Officially Spring Fever
Meteorologists and climatolog
ists got their heads together and
came up with an answer to a
strange malady which kept classes
fairly empty yesterday afternoon.
Student speculation varied as to
its cause—one student thought it
was 13 cups of coffee he drank.
But officially it’s spring fever,
James C. Stovall, professor of
geography who teaches a climat
ology class, said that since Thurs
day was the first warm day of the
year, it must be spring fever.
