University Speech
Contest Deferred^
The all-University extemporan
eous speech contest scheduled for
this week has been postponed to a
future indefinite date.
According to Mrs. Frances
Hemm, speech office secretary,
more publicity and greater interest
must be promoted before the con
test will be held. The general topic
will be the same as before, World
Affairs.
E. R. Nichols, professor of
speech and forensics director, will
be in charge.
